Champions League Final!
Two of the best teams in the world, Barcelona and Man United competed in the Champions League Final last night. The match took place in the Stadio Olmpico in Rome which was filled to capacity.
Rang a Cúig Man U Fans.
United were hoping for their forth Champions League title. Man United started off with ferocious pace. After 10 minutes a mistake from Carrick let Eto’o in around him and Eto’o fooled Vidic. He toe-bogged it into the net. United never gave up and kept on trying. Barca were getting better and better. The sparks missing from the United team were Fletcher and Tevez. But after half time the one the only Carlos Tevez came on. Then there was a little change in the United game. When United were getting closer to coming back into the game, an amazing ball from Xavi set Messi up for a well placed header that went into the top corner. After that United started to get annoyed and got 3 yellow cards. A few minutes later in the 93 minute the whistle blew. But the better team won. Well done BARCA
Rang A Cúig Barca Fans.
Last night La Liga champions Barca faced off against the Premier League champions Man United. The game was owned by Man U for the first 10 min but after a break in the Man U defence Eto’o got the ball. He drilled it in under Van der Sar to score!!!. Barca kept the ball in their possession till the end of the first half. In the second half Barca came out with all guns blazing. In the 52 min a Xavi free kick passed Van der Sar and smashed against the post. Then in the 62 min Pique made a crucial clearance from Rooney’s cross. In the 70 min a cross form Xavi connected with the head of Messi. This was a lesson of “How to Play Football” for Man U . In the end Ferguson was so annoyed he spat his gum out!

Art Attack - Joan Miro.
Joan Miro is an artist and sculptor from Barcelona in Spain. He loved to use vibrant colours such as red, yellow, blue and green. He also used dots and sharply drawn lines in black. Joan Miro wanted to enrich his native city with his work. It can be seen scattered all over the streets, parks and squares within everybody’s reach. His art is simple and bright and it brought a smile to our faces:)
