Easter Egg Hunt

The School Council decided to organise an Easter Egg Hunt for the junior and senior infant classes. As this would involve 270 children, the council enlisted the help of Miss O’Brien’s fifth class for the event.

Having cleaned out some local shops of Easter treats, the council members dressed-up in animal costumes. The little children were delighted to be escorted around the school grounds on the day by a senior class. They had to complete simple tasks involving hula hoops, skipping ropes, bean bags etc. For each task completed the children won a letter. When six letters spelling E-A-S-T-E-R were collected, the children received an Easter goodie bag!!!
