What is Black?

Black is the colour of dullness,
And the smoke from a steam express.
It’s the burnt on your toast and
funeral coats.
It’s the colour of space and a fireplace,
And coal plus a mole.
An empty mind and passing time.
Death and before a couple met.
The tyre on your car and a loved one afar.
Ink and when you blink is black.
The violence of war and some
clothes that have tore.
Black is like a train track.
And, at the end of your life when you fall into
a…. BIG BLACK HOLE.

BROWN IS THE COLOUR OF MY HAIR
DOWN IS THE WAY I LIKE TO WEAR
I REALLY LIKE TO EAT CHOCOLATE BARS
BROWN AND GOOEY LIKE A MARS
BROWN IS THE COLOUR OF THE FENCE OUT MY BACK
I GET MY FOOTBALL AND GIVE IT A WHACK
MY DOG HAS BROWN AND WHITE SPOTS
I LOVE HIM LOTS AND LOTS
SO BROWN IS MY FAVOURITE COLOUR IN THE WORLD

Children's Poetry.

Salvar
My Salvar is blue , and has golden swirls.
It comes with a cap that has twirls.
I wear it when it is sunny.
And then , I am as warm as a bunny.
It feels like I am warm, and I like the style.
Just the colour of River Nile.
When I wear it I feel like I am the best.
I wonder if it will help me pass my test.

It makes me look like a baby bear because it’s brown and furry

I love my jersey very much.
Because it’s so nice to touch.
It’s red and black and looks really cool.
I wish I could wear it going to school.
When I wear it lots of goals I score.
I score so many sometimes, 24 or more.
Someday I would like to play for MAN U.
